ART WEEKENDS IN CLIFF HEAD HOTEL

The beautiful location of Cornwall makes the Best Western Cliff Head Hotel the perfect base to develop your artistic abilities.

Let your imagination run free as you learn to produce your very own vibrant paintings using mixed media in a loose modern style.

The weekend is suitable for beginners or the more experienced. Sessions begin with a demonstration of ‘oil colour marbling’ and continue with painting in mixed media techniques on canvas. All materials will be included and participants take home their completed work. The weekend will culminate in a competition with a trophy presented to the winner.

Two nights accommodation in a double or twin room

Friday

Check-in from 2.00 pm
6.00 pm – meet fellow guests for a welcome drink before dinner

Saturday

8 am to 10 am – breakfast
10.30 am – 12 noon – Marbling and Painting
12 noon – 1 pm – Lunch in our Bay Restaurant
1 pm – 5.00 pm – Painting
6.30 pm – meeting in our lounge bar
7.30 pm – three course dinner

Sunday

8 am to 10 am – breakfast
10 am – 11 am – Complete Paintings
11 am – 11.30 am – Competition of Completed works with Prize Giving
12 noon – Check out and depart
